From Vendors
If you register as a vendor, we collect additional information including:
- Business registration information (business name, address, type)
- Tax identification number (SSN or EIN) for tax reporting purposes
- Bank account information for payouts (processed securely via Stripe Connect)
- Government-issued identification for identity verification
- Operating hours and delivery zone configurations
- Team member information if you add staff to your vendor account

Customer Analytics

3. Information Sharing
With Vendors
When you place an order, we share your name, delivery address, phone number, and order details with the vendor to fulfill your order. Vendors may see aggregated information about their customer base but are prohibited from using your personal information for any purpose other than order fulfillment.
Third-Party Service Providers
We work with trusted third-party providers to operate our platform:
- Stripe: Processes customer payments and vendor payouts via Stripe Connect. Stripe receives payment card details, bank account information (for vendors), and transaction data. See Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
- Google Maps: Provides address verification and delivery zone mapping. Receives address information for geocoding purposes.
- Delivery Partners: Receive delivery address and contact information to complete deliveries.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. Payment data is processed securely through Stripe and is never stored on our servers.
Sensitive Financial Data
Vendor bank account information and tax identification numbers are encrypted using AES-256 encryption. We comply with PCI-DSS standards through our use of Stripe for all payment processing. Full bank account numbers are never displayed after initial entry.
5. Tax Compliance
For vendors who meet IRS reporting thresholds, we are required to:
- Collect tax identification numbers (SSN or EIN)
- Generate and file 1099-K forms reporting gross payment amounts
- Retain tax-related records for 7 years as required by law
This information is used solely for tax compliance purposes and is protected with encryption both in transit and at rest.
6. Data Retention
- Order history: Retained for your records and to improve recommendations
- Financial records: 7 years (required for tax compliance)
- Customer account data: Until you request deletion
- Vendor data: Duration of partnership plus 7 years for tax records
